914 wheel question: rivieras...
What companies made the Riviera mag whees? Is there anything specifically to look for when searching for wheels for my stock '75 2.0? Where these a german rim that was also produced later on by a US manufacturer?
Thanks!

I don't know what company, but I don't think they are german.
they are made for VW's, and so most 914 owners po-po them. I like them as another alternative wheel. there offset is usually for VW's so you can't get a very wide tire on them. |

They are aftermarket VW wheels. Not correct offset for the 914. Most people think they are junk.....

with the 914 crowd, owning Riv's is just fine.
the problem is admitting it or posting pics of them... KT
