Replacing steering rack
Since I was under the front of the car today I inspected everything and I noticed the left lide of the steering rack, the boot was torn in 2 places. The tie rods don't look too hot either, one has a little dent in it. How hard would it be to just replace the whole thing with a different steering rack. I have an extra laying around I am pretty sure is in much better shape.

Is the steering rack bad? If not would you change the engine because the spark plugs are bad?
From what I see its a bent tierod and torn dust boot. Get yourself a set of turbo tierods. The design is superior and they come with new dust boots. Problem solved... |
