Window replacement

I am going to have my front windshield replaced, it's pitted beyond belief. My insurance will cover the replacement, just one question. Does any one know if I should buy new seals for the windshield? I doubt that any glass company here in AZ would know where to get the seals unless Porsche still has them in inventory. Any suggestions before I purchase the seals? Also, do I need the dash seal along with the actual front windshield seal?

They used to have the dash seal here. If you are going to keep the metal trim, you should get new clips, which are available here. I thought the windshield was held in with butyl tape. Y

ou should replace the rubber you can when you can, it is probably pretty old.
