Windshield Rubber
Anyone familiar with this stuff? I cant really tell what it looks like from the pic. Does it look oK once installed? What is it compared to stock? I thought it might be a gasket. (on a vw a gasket that eliminates the chrome trim is called "cal-look" (whatever
) Seems like a gasket might do a good job of preventing rust around the channel.Richard |

I personally like that look better than the shiny metal trim. I would think you could get a workable rubber trim at any autoglass shop.
I think I heard someone mention a Ford or Chevy piece that worked well too, available at JC Whipme or the like. Maybe someone will chime in on which model? |

the lower edges always look kinda funny as the rubber is not meant to be bend that much. the only way to get those to lay flat is to cut the seal and make it a two-piece. one long pice for the sides and top and a second piece for the bottom ... Andy
