Fuel Injection Wiring Boots - Supplier Found

We have been trying to locate replacement rubber boots for the various fuel injector connectors on our 914. We have had no luck with VW or Porsche suppliers. We had heard early 1970's Volvos had similar fuel injector systems and we ran across the following site http://www.swedishtreasures.com/18002.html

Look at item number 943693 which is for a set of 7x2pin, 2x3pin,1x4pin rubber boots. We bought a set and they are reproductions of good quality. The set does not totally replace what we needed for our 1972 1.7L, but almost. None of the boots have a part number or any stampings.

I have no interest in this company but are offering the information for fellow 914 owners. They accept PayPal and the product was shipped almost immediately. Price at the time of our order for the set was $49.95. They are all black in color.

Has anyone else found other sources such as from VW parts houses that may specialize in type III's and IV's. We did not thus the Swedish Connection.

Thanks,
jjs3rd914

These boots look like a nice find, if they are of good quality. It looks like they might have a Volvo logo on them, but its not that important.

The set the I received have no markings at all. The photo in my original post was from their web site. As for the quality they appear to be okay, but time will tell when exposed to the heat. The material may be just a hair thinner than an OEM part but that is a tough call on my part, as my OEM boots are long cooked and torn. There is no doubt they are reproductions but when installed I think they will look and work just fine if they have the longevity.

Thanks,
