My Next 914 Project

Looks pretty staright. Any plans for it?

Well, this car has a speacal meaning to me, it belonged to a very close friend, a father figure, who Hospice told us, just today, only has about 2 days left:(
This is a man who has been like a father to me, this is the car that I was willing to put my trick RPM built twin plug 914 up for sale for, when I stated a car that meant a lot to me, I wasn't kidding. Like my 914-6 GT clone, this is a Porsche that has to be fininshed, built, and will be done. Floyd had already had a trick new susp. (which I'll install) done, and I supplied him with everything to build a trick high HP engine. So yes P-DUBm,I do have plans for it, I'm only sorry that this is how I got this 914, but it is why it is so important to me . Sometimes, life really sucks!!

Terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your friend and mentor. It sounds as if you two shared a great many things in common. What a great way to preserve Floyd's memory and his passion by taking this car to the next level. That's what he would have wanted and now the car is in very good and loving hands.

I also have a new set of headers, Jet-Hot coated & a Jacobs ignition:cool: going on it. The stock engine has SSIs, Dellortos & a Jacobs ignition, which is what I will be running for a while. Anyone have a clutch kit for this flywheel??
