fuel injector part numbers

I have two injectors with two part numbers that i don't know...they are-
0 280 150 005, or the other side says 022 906 031

the other injector is 0 280 150 007

can anybody confirm these are 1.7 injectors?

thanks!

The 022 906 031 number is the VW or Porsche part number. The parts book calls for an "A" suffix for the 1.7 injectors, and a "C" for the 1.8 ones. There may have been earlier versions with different suffixes, or none.

The 0 280 number is the Bosch part number. I'm finding listings for the "007" one, which is shown as VW 1.6/1.7 (yellow). The 1.7 engines were essentially 1.7 liter VW Type IV engines, and they used yellow fuel injectors. I can't find a listing for the 005 at the present time, though some of my resources are still packed away.

Thanks Dave. Typically, thats what i thought they were, but needed them to be 2.0 injectors. sigh.

Look for the plastic on the injector to be green. Chances are good that it's a 2.0 injector if it's green.
