welded my 1st GT flare today-how'd I do?
 

I have had my metal GT flares for about 2 months now and decided to try and install one this weekend. I have never done anything like this before so it was intimidating at first but I think it came out good. looks good to me, and it is yellow so it will be faster when painted. Does it hang down a bit at foreward edge?

Yes it's a tad low on the front but I haven't formed the front to match the angle of the rocker so it might be O.K.

What kind of welder did you use? Gas? Tig?

I used a 110 volt Hobart mig welder.
