Does anyone know what the fuel sender should read (how many ohms) at full tank and what it should read at the empty level? Or simply what is the resistance range (??? ohms full to ??? ohms empty).

The range goes from little (empty) to very little (full).
![]() OK, OK. I measured 32 ohms at empty on mine, and something like 3 ohms when full. --DD |

Later:
The factory parts book only lists one part number for the fuel level sender. So I think it's the same for all 914s. The range I quote is measured from one sender, though--there may be differences from one to the next due to manufacturing tolerances and so on. I recall Jim T sent me numbers that were slightly different. --DD ------------------ Pelican Parts 914 Tech Support A few pics of my car: http://www.pelicanparts.com/gallery/Dave_Darling |

Thanks again, Dave! That gives me a good
'ballpark' figure to go by when I measure mine. Daniel Harvey |
