No-Crank Intermittent, 75 1.8
Thanks for the encouragement over almost 2 yrs with my FI problems and throwing alternator belts. Think OK now after new injectors, blowing out lines, and putting shims on alt. pulley. It runs pretty good now, on all 4, when it does start. Now I've gotta get serious about the occasional NO-CRANK situation. My wife comes out and it starts for her. She says you have to put it in neutral, or hold your mouth right, or talk to it right....whatever. For me, I helplessly turn key back and forth, and the 4th time, or tenth time, it starts, or maybe I let it sit for a few minutes or a few days and then it starts. I foolishly think I can find a loose wire. Vote please. Whose side are you on? Thank you.

Clean the battery posts and clamps. Clean the ground strap connections. Could also be a cracked ignition switch or a dirty connection at the seatbelt relay under the passenger seat.
