Is it worth buying?

Hi I'm new to 914's and I came across a 1975 914 for $300
the bad is the drivers side fender is banged up a bit and is rusted around where the turn single goes. and theres rust around the battery tray. current owner says both floor pans need replacing. rear trunk lid has a rust hole in it. he said that he had it running roughly 1.5 years ago. I don't know what engine it has, but it has Two single barrel carbs one on each side. paints bad. interior is so so. owner claimed when he had it on the road it handled real well and ran straight. but let it sit because lack of time to fix the rust.
So what do you guys think. should i pass . or get it and restore it, or get it for parts. for when I get a 914. or get it and part it out.
thanks Jason

Unless you are handy at welding, I would say probably not, good parts car though probably, if you have a place to keep it

Well I've decided to not get the car as I lack the space for a project that big. but If any one in the San Antonio, tx / cayon lake, tx area, wants to take a look at it I can provide A phone number of the seller.
