The wiring should already be in the car, but if not, then it is only a small harness that plugs into the main harness. Look below the front lid latch for an unused harness lying there or for wires going through the wall behind the bumper; should be 2, one for the horns and another for the fogs.

Most 914's have the foglight wiring regardless of whether they came with the actual lights. Is your car still equipped with the large (heavy) big black bumpers that were original equipment on '75/'76 cars? Or has it been "upgraded" to wear the earlier (much lighter) metal bumpers? Please post a picture of your front.

yes the wiring is already there, just add a switch a relay and two foglights. Finding the lights is the hardest thing, 74-83 911 lights are identical except for the bracket location

The horn has a Black/yellow stripe paired with a Brown ground.
The fog lights have a White/yellow stripe paired with a Brown ground. That car looks excellent in the trunk, nice. Do you have a CoA or need one? Email me please.

Thanks again for you help. I have another question, how to install the switch knob for the fog lights in the dashboard.

The dashboard frame should have holes in it, covered by the vinyl material glued onto the face. You locate the one you want to use, either by feeling for the hole under the vinyl or by looking from the back side. Cut a hole to match the one in the metal, then poke the shaft of the switch through. Screw on the "escutcheon" (the nut that holds the shaft onto the dash), then screw in the knob.
Then you hook up the wires, assuming you have them or can make them. --DD

Yes, definitely possible to add fog lights to your ’76 914! If your car didn’t come with them, you’ll need the lights themselves (original Hella units if you want OEM, or aftermarket options), a fog light switch, relay, and some wiring.

Metal bumper under rubber cover will require TABS to be welded on to mount lights.
