Muffler Recommendations? Attitude?
Any one ever try a straight-threw muffler like a Flowmaster, MagnaFlow, or. . ? I want an aggressive sound. It looks like an old Bursch on there now but Im not sure. Just swap mufflers?
My motor is pretty built but its just to quite, needs a little attitude. Any recommendations? |

I have a Triad, it has a great sound. Reasonably quiet at idle, but really comes on when you spin it up.
Triad

My Bursch sounds pretty good. Do you have carbs or EFI?

I've have good results using magnaflow on several different cars. On a 4 cyl 914, the only way you'll pick up any sort of real power is head work/headers.

It has carbs. 4cyl
Ill post a photo of the exhaust later. The motor has a 96mm kit and dual 44s. The exhaust just sounds "normal". |

Press all the way down on the pedal under your right foot. Tell us what that sounds like.
Remember, it might just be hard to hear your exhaust over the carbs. Go for performance and not vanity.
