MO & KS Owners
Hello all,
New to Porsche owning, bought my first 914-4 last year. It's a '75 in excellent shape.   Underpowered but I Love to drive it anyway! I would like to know if there are any salvage yards, clubs or swap meets that are any good in western Missouri or eastern Kansas. Thanks for your help, Mike |

Very nice!! Looks clean. Has A/C, or at least the under-dash A/C unit. 1.8 or 2.0?
I don't know offhand of anything in west MO or east KS, but out in the Great Midwest you may have to travel further for your 914 fix than out here on the Left Coast. Hopefully others in the area will chime in shortly. You might also try asking on the 914world or 914club websites. --DD

I'm in Liberty - still working on mine. I haven't tried any salvage yards. Vee Village in downtown KC specializes in VW, and can work on your 914. Bugs n Buggy's can also work on them. They were in Liberty, but moved up north (Lathrop or Holt?).
Not sure about salvage yards or clubs.

I'm in kansas city and have a family of porsches. Just bought a 74 914 1.8L with only 43,000 and a one owner.

I'm here in KC area! I got a "driver" and a parts car. All us should get together. No one allowed that dont drive a 914. Sorry you jackstand guys! (just kidding about that last part.)

Been out of town, I'm off the jacks. Up and running, licensed and legal. Even passed safety inspection - the real kind, not the one where you slip the mechanic an extra $20.

You should go to the SCCA auto-x at the sports complex on Sunday. I may not have a 914 there but I hope to be there with my C.R.A.P. 911.

If you want to participate you would need to be there by 9:00. If you just want to come and watch what it going on then probably 10:30. They run in "I believe" the south far end lot at the sports complex where the chiefs play.
I will be in an 85 red cab. If you can't see me you should be able to hear me.
