On E-Bay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll ViewItem&item=596572897&r=0&t=0) is a 914 with an interesting front on it. Does anyone have any idea what company made it? Thanks.

Does not look like any kit I recognize...might really be a one off custom job. Parts might be from other models and modified... |

It seems to have a 944-like feel to it, but I agree, it doesn't look like any 914 conversion I've seen either. I'm looking for a good setup for my V8 conversion and this look caught my attention.

That kit is a Beach Boys Racing Monterey Speedster.

I agree that the fenders and probably the nose if from Breach Boys, but I don't think the rest did. The rockers look like 911 pieces, the rear is a 916 cover, the side scoops are new Mustange GT and the wing... is fugly.
Just my $.02 (maybe worth less) Dave |

Beleive it or not a body man I know who races 914's has put 944 front bumpers on 914's. They are cut in half and lengthened (I think) to fit. They do look nice.
That car....well, to each his own. |

I just bought a front end (fenders, and nosepiece) from a friend just like this. I thought it was a version of the Chalon.... I am trying to slim down a car with a Sheridan Wide body front end on it. Want to go with 10 to 12 in front wheels? I'll make you a deal.

The front is definitely from a Beach Boys Racing Monterey kit (I was able to compare the E-Bay pic with one from Beach Boy's website). There were actually two different Chalon kits made. If you have any pic's of the nose/fenders you have, I'd like to see them. Thanks.
