Post Alt light problem solved

I solved the flickering alt light problem I asked about in an earlier post. It was the alt and the D+ diodes were weak. I measured the voltage at the blue wire (conn #2) on the large connector at the front of the relay board and at idle it was 11.5 volts, but B+ output was 13 volts (same at the batt). As RPMs went up D+ went up and this would make the light finally go out. The two tests in Jim T's article passed okay since the alt would work at full load. So I replaced the rebuilt generic one with a Bosch rebuilt one and all is fine.
