Clock and interior light help please

so i have basically completely rebuilt my car, motor, fixed body, and some more misc.
i bought a parts car a few years back and decided it was time to steal some parts and get my 73' 1.7 closer to being done. 2 of the big things i wanted to add to my car where gauges and interior light (my car is electrically ran for both but neither was present when i purchased the car)

i took the Center console gauges from my 74 2.0 tested, cleaned and painted them, but when i install them the clock has no power, i can run it from a 12v battery and the clock works fine, but the black wire that feeds is is dead, all the lights for the gauges work fine (blue wire i believe). also the black wire that feeds the interior light is dead, both with the switch on and off.
so here is my question (i know they should have power all the time regardless of ignition switch position) could i have missed a a wire that i need to plug in when i re assembled the car (i only had the motor out not the wiring harness) any ideas would be great ???

i have read around a bit on this subject and everyone talks about a box under the pass. seat, i have the interior out of my car atm and i don't see anything, all i can see is that the black clock wire and black interior light wire go into the big harness and through the fire wall, from there i have no clue

The black wire that powers the clock gets 12v from the interior light.

Check fuse no. 11. This is the second fuse over from the left. It also helps to lightly sand the connectors on the fuse box. This circuit powers the interior light. This circuit also powers the emergency flashers. If the flashers work, but the light does not, you have a break in the line from the fuse to the interior light.

I had a similar problem adding the gauges to my 914.

The box under the passenger seat is probably the starter interlock box, which started in 1974.

thank you very much, i took that fuse out while i was working on it to make the door buzzer stop going crazy and didnt think about it possiably running the light , thank you very much george
