Question 914 Cooling fan Shroud

I'm interested in knowing if the cooling fan shroud on the 914 is different for each of the engine variants (1.7, 1.8, 2.0), or if they're the same?

I'm in need of some replacement piping that connects from the shroud to the heat exchangers on my 2.0L ad want to know if I can look for parts from these other engines.

Many thanks,

The fan shroud and air ducting parts are the same on all 70-74 914s. The 75-76es changed somewhat, but I don't recall the exact changes. The shroud is the same, but I think the S-ducts are different because of how they hook up to the heat exchangers.

Hello

The aluminium unit is similar to all except later versions have the vent hole for the carbon system and some more boses and threats.

The 1,7 and the 1,8 shroud is the same. On the 2,0 the sparkplug holes are relocatet.

Lower paneling is similar to all up to 74 when the new excanger came. Other cvariation is the fresh air blower and the fresh air filter preheat setup on early 1,7. 1,8 Carb versions have also slight modifications.

Grüsse
