Speed Bleeders
I broke a bunch of my stock bleeders and I am in the process of replacing them with the speed bleeders available here at PP..I dont quite understand the difference as bleeding each seems to be the same.

I don't have the speed bleeders myself, but I understand that they have a check-valve in them which will not allow air to go back up into them. You still have to loosen them to get the old fluid (and air and contaminants) out, but you don't necessarily have to tighten them when you let up off the pedal.
I think that depends a little too much on the threads keeping air out effectively, so I'd be a little wary of them. But others have tried them and say they work great. (Remember that my opinion has been formed without trying them myself!!) --DD |
Ok..Thanks Dave. I also found out more info at http://www.speedbleeders.com. Now I just gotta get out the old bleeders..
