I can't get my car started
All I was doing was adjusting my valves and now I can't get it to start.
I put the dist. cap back on and it just cranked and cranked. I hooked up my timing light and only one plug was firing. So I took it off and put on my spare cap. Now I'm firing on all plugs but it's still not starting. I'm definitly getting gas as I can smell it. I thought maybe the timing got off so I messed around with that for a while but the only difference that made was when I turned it counter-clockwise, the exaust was popping a little bit. I unplugged the injectors and no more pop. Is it possible that I could have flooded it by cranking it so much with a messed up dist cap? The only thing i did was remove the cap and adjust the valves...what in the world could I have messed up by doing that. Only two valves were out of adjustment, so I don't think I could have been adjusting the wrong ones. Any ideas?? jeremy |
