FI Guru Plug Reading

1 Attachment(s)
I need you FI Guru's to help me with this plug reading. I numbered the plugs so you can see whick cylinders they came out of... the funny thing is that one "side" of the motor was fine and the other side...well you can see that the other side was caked with carbon.
Anybody got any ideas? Think I am running too rich? 74' 1.8L with the stock L-Jet. All hose have been replaced and everything had been cleaned and reassembled. Every so often the motor will begin to "bog" down and I have to convince it to rev up and then it seems to clean itself out. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Here is the pic...

Could it be a faulty injector?

Similar problem on my wife's 351 Bronco. Turned out to be a bad coil...

Though your problem seems to be unique to couple of cyl.

Also, could be a stuck flapper valve on the L-Jet air box...
Also, stuck FI cold start valve?? To much fuel pressure...

L-jet? Hmm... Resistor pack? Clean and check resistances. Check and clean connections at the injectors. I believe that the 914 L-jet goes as a single group of four, rather than two groups of two--and the ECU provides the ground for the injectors. So the usual D-jet suspects don't necessarily apply.

Hmmm... Switch the injectors around side to side and see what that gives you.
