Wiring Harness
Is there a tool to remove the contacts from the plugs on the fuel injection harness?

Yes, it is called a "de-pinning tool". You can approximate it pretty well if you have a very very thin flat-bladed screwdriver and you take a grinder to it to make it thinner.
The tool is just a thin flat piece of stiff metal. You put it into the base of the "T" at the front of the connector (the side that sits against whatever you're plugging into) and push the metal tab on the connector up toward the top of the "T". That releases the pin's grip on the plastic plug housing, and you can pull the wire out of the back. --DD
