Thumbs up The 914-6 for sale

There is a 914-6 listed for sale here, does anyone know anything about the seller? Does he post inside the forum?

shawn914shellie@earthlink.net

Thanks - James

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

With the number of people who read the thread and who _didn't_ respond, I'm guessing no one has heard of this guy.

The clickable link you posted is an e-mail link, not a link to an ad. Is this what you intended? If so what are the details about the car?

The 914-6 is listed in the Pelican Parts "Cars for Sale" section. The only thing listed in the ad was his e-mail address and I was trying to find out if anyone knew him.

I'm meeting him tomorrow to check out the vehicle.

Thanks to all who read the post.

If you are talking about the yellow one for 8,000....sounds like a good deal IF you know what you are doing.

"I" don't know the guy. He is not a regular poster....maybe he has a life...

Might want to take some pics and post them or take a friend....

I bought one for 8k, did some repairs and then sold it for 16.5...but the engine and trans were strong.

Cool

Well, I pulled the trigger last night and I'm now the proud owner of a 914-6. Anyone interested in a couple of used 914-4's?

$7500. It is in fair condition. Could have a better paint job. A couple of electrical issues. But it seemed like a very fair price for the vehicle. The best part: It's in good shape and runnable condition so I'll be having fun with it this Spring/Summer!
