Strange noise from rear after off road mishap

So the whole (shortened) story is this: I took a corner a little too fast and had the rear end come out on me. Having this happen many times before, I decided not to do anything about it. No breaks. No steering. I figured, eh, I'll stop. I was wrong. The next thing I knew I was up on the 50 degree hill sideways bouncing around. I steered back on the road and all was good. Except for my front spoiler that was ripped from the body. ANYWAYS....after that morning, I have been having a noise coming from the rear of the car that can only be described as a crunch/rub. Initially I thought it was the tires rubbing(so kinda that sound) but it was not. I even replaced the tires and rims. Next I thought that it was the wheel bearing. I replaced that. Same noise is present. It's not the breaks. It does not get louder when I go faster but it does get a little faster. It seems to have a rrrummpth rrrummpth at a tempo of 95 starting at about 30mph. If that makes sense. So I guess my next step is to replace the CV/driveshaft. But I am worried that is not the issue. Tranny?
Do you guys have any thoughts? Besides keeping the 914 ON the road?

Do you still have the brake dust shields? If so, they could be bend or something could be stuck behind them rubbing on the rotors ...

Yeah, I thought of taking them off. But when I turn the rotors by hand, I do not hear any noise. I think I will take them off today and see if the noise is still present.

In the event of future spins I might suggest engaging the clutch and brakes simultaneously to slow the car down and minimize damaging off road excursions

I guess it does reduce some of the excitement, but could induce a bigger code brown moment

CV joints or carrier bearing in the differential.

I did replace the CVs on the suspected side with some used ones. They were not in the best condition but usable. and the noise is still there...Carrier bearing replacement is next???
