Porsche Crest 914 won't start

need some help, I am have a 1975 914 2.0, I pulled it in the garage yesterday and it ran fine, went to pull it out it wont start, it turns over and I can hear the fuel pump running but it wont fire. I put fuel in the throttle body turn it over at it fires up. Please Help
well after talking to my son who is helping me put it back together after having it painted, He decided to check the relays and the fuses in the engine compartment, could any thing in there cause this problem?

Check your trigger points for the FI in the distributor. If the fuel pump runs and you're not getting fuel it probably has something to do with them, wiring, or ECU.

Garage
Check all of the electrical plugs in the engine bay. There are a couple that, if unplugged, will keep the engine from running.
