914 T-Shirt

Since I sold my Teener a few months ago to buy a 911, I haven't visited this board. So, if you have already seen this pleas don't flame me.

No association or referency. Just thought you might enjoy seeing it. I think I'll buy one even though the car is gone.

That 914-6 blueprint is also here on the PP site under 'Other 914 stuff' I used it for my wallpaper for a while.

I ordered one -- what the heck, I just sold a bunch of parts so my PayPal account was pretty flush. Plus I've noticed that my collection of decent t-shirts has been dwindling fast with help from the baby, the cars, and endless house honeydoo's.

I used to get lots of geeky t-shirts for free via work but surprise, surprise, lately the tech companies aren't exactly tossing out the promo freebies like they used to.

I'll post my thoughts when it arrives.

I ordered 2 & haven't got them yet! think their site said 3-4 weeks though. Kinda long but as long as they come I won't complain. They look pretty cool & I don't have a 914 shirt at all yet!

I would have bought one had they not spammed me with email.

I run my own email server and every single email address I have recived the spam..and I use a junk email address to sign up for crap on the web.

If anybody knows HOW this person obtained our email addresses I would like to know.

I know the guy. I bought a 914 T shirt, not the blueprint, a different one, from him 2 years ago. The shirts and print quality are excellent. I wear it alot.

He used to be on Rennlist and the others, he probably kept the email addresses or searched the 914 list recently to get them.

Anyway, they are (were) good quality shirts.

Glenn Sager ( a914luvr@earthlink.net ) has been selling a pocket, heavyweight T with 2 914s on the back and 1 on the pocket for the last couple of years. I own three. Don't have a pic, but if anyone is interested I can get one.

He doesn't spam.

Hmmm...there must be something about Glenn's shirts and the "3" thing, as I own 3 also. My 9 year-old daughter also wears them as nightshirts (her twin brother hates cars, but she is a 914 fanatic--go figure) so they have been extensively kid-tested as well.

You can't kill those shirts, I recommend them without hesitation and Glenn is excellent to deal with. He puts them up on ebay every so often too.

Somebody please post a pic of an actual blueprint shirt when they receive one.

I didn't get the spam from the blueprint shirt guy...otherwise I'm not sure I would have bought one.

I'm out of town at the moment but expect it to be there when I get home.

BTW I have 2 of Glenn's shirts as well. Not sure I can find both of them after the recent move so maybe I need to order a 3rd

Ok - time for another shameless plug in this thread. Glenn Sager also made a "polo' shirt for more formal occasions like taking your wife/girlfriend/? to Coco's instead of Burger King. Attached are a couple of images (shirt has been worn and washed). If there is any interest, he may make some more (logo is embroidered).

Ok Glenn - now you owe me commission!!!!!

FYI - I got back in town and the shirt I had ordered 7/29 wasn't here, so I emailed the contact address on the (designrefinery.com) site. I got a prompt and polite reply indicating that there's a 2-3 week shipment/lead time. I didn't notice that on the order page but apparently it's stated there.

So, I shall wait...
