Paint codes and type Q's?
I am looking at color options for my '74. I am thinking about "Ravenna".
My question is, will this color be a one stage or two stage paint. Can I get this color in a BC/CC? Do you think BC/CC is needed and looks beter? Thanks

A good paint supply store can make the paint in either single stage or BC/CC. I like BC/CC, but in general, it costs more in materials.
OEM was single stage paint, at least on the solid colors. I don't recall if there were clear coats on the metallic cars. There are advantages to either, but the real issue is what do you like spraying. -Lawrence |

I am new to the whole process of painting. The car is almost 100% in PPG epoxy primer now. I am going to be top coating the trunks, and jams next . If single looks good, lasts, and is easier to spray I may use that.
Does anyone have Ravenna in single stage on there car? Thanks
