Installing front windshield trim
 

I need to know if any silicone is supposed to be put under the pieces before i install them.

no, its not, they just pop on..

There are several little plastic clips that the moulding snaps into. The break easily due to age and impatient removal of the moulding. Some may need to be replaced or your won't get a snug fit all the way around your windshield. I assume that you already have the moulding removed from the car and know how delicate it must be handled to avoid crimps and damage.

Thanks for the replies. I have removed the other trim because the PO had sanded and painted it black. I guess that I am also going to have to get a couple of clips for it also.
