Cam specs

I am going to use the Webcam mild street carb cam. 270degrees,.423 lift, in the 2liter I'm building. How does this compare with the stock cam? What are the specs of the stock cam? After much thought, and no money, I decided not to go with the hydraulic cam afterall.

"What are the specs of the stock cam?"

I've asked that question of a couple of Porsche retailers including one independent Porsche dealer and was told "Even the factory manuals do not give valve lift values." .

I think the Haynes manual has the timing figures but the lift values are one of life's mysteries. Maybe someone could measure a new camshaft with a micrometer and post the figures.

Doesn't webcam sell a stock replacement cam? I wonder if they could tell us what the stock cam specs are? I only want to know how big of a change I am making from the stock cam.
