Impossible?

O.K. I have spent the last few days trying to hook up an electric washer pump. Sounds easy right? Well I can't figure it out. Here's the deal, Wiper switch all the way down=delay wipe, one click up=wipers off, two clicks up=low, all the way up=high. Pull on wiper switch= wipers do two strokes and washer pump should come on. One brown wire goes to the delay relay and is a ground when the delay is OFF. To turn the delay on the ground is removed at the switch. This brown ground wire also turns into +12V when the wiper switch is pulled. So I would think to add the + wire on the pump to this brown wire, but the pump has low enough resistance that the delay will not turn on at all (still grounded). I have tried to add a relay for a seperate ground for the delay but the pump still has low enough resistance to activate the relay. One relay for pump and one for delay? Well I tried that too, The relays then have to be wired in series and turn on. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I am having nightmares about backwards German wiring. Thanks, Dave

Cheat

I just got a Golf tank and pump. ran a hot lead to a monentary push button switch mounted to dash. continued wire to pump motor and other end to ground. Works like a champ, I can spray water all the way over the car. Need to adjust nozzles.
