fitting Fuchs
 
will the 85' 944 fuchs fit the 914 with the proper spindels ,..Etc..?? are they the correct off set...Thanks FM

I also have the same question. I have a complete 944 for parts. Would the 5 stud hubs and spindles fit on a 2.0 1974 914 ? I plan to go with fuchs

I think the 944 wheels (except the 86+ Turbo) are the same part number as some of the 911 wheels. So they should fit as well as the 911 wheels do. Anything narrower than 7" should fit without real difficulty, though the rear fender lip on one or both sides may need to be folded flat or cut off, as long as you don't go too wide on the tires. (195 or possibly 205 should be OK, depending on camber and exact width of tire and so forth.)

The 944 spindles and hubs are completely different than the 911 parts as far as I can tell, and will not swap over gracefully.
