Rear Targa Seal
I am reassembling my 74 and needed to replace the rear targa seal...ouch! I did a quick search and found the procedures on how to make your own, went out and bought the materials and put it together yesterday! Here is the result! Man is it tight!! I love this forum!

I love it.
I didn't care for the contact cement. Didn't work so well for me. I used "GOOP" and have had the fake seal for about 1 1/2 years. It's showing just a bit of wear (that garage door seal rubber isn't nearly as durable as the stock seal rubber) but for the price I can build a brand new one every 3 years and beat the hell out of the $200 price tag for a new one.

I should have tried the goop or 3M weather strip seal. The contact cement did not work that well for me either. I had to do it twice. As of right now its staying together!
