2.0 D-jet Bogging Down??-Need Help!!
 

Hello,

I ahve a 74 2.0 D-Jet Fuel injected engine and when I take it out I drive for about 5 min revving up and down the RPM range and then out of no where I try to rev up above 4k RPMS and It bogs and coughs and ultimately backfires!!

I can continue driving but I have to keep the RPMS under 3K or else it starts to bog down and backfire!!

Also as long as I ease on the throttle I can keep going up to 3k but If I try to floor it It bogs down!!

Any thoughts??
