Anyone interested? Just curious. maybe it's too cold to do it now, and/or cars have turned into winter projects

None planned that I know of. You might try looking over on http://www.roadglue.com to see if there's anything listed. If you want to put one on, figure a time and place and email Randy (at roadglue) so he can put it up on the site. There's also a Yahoo group for Roadglue.

We will resume the 9:14 breakfasts again after the holidays in January...continuing the previous 'last Saturday of the month' schedule again.
The January 2002 breakfast was one of the best ever with ~40 cars showing up IN THE RAIN for a drive through Stevens Canyon and up Skyline. I think the Roadglue site still has photos. It was wet and wild! We are not currently planning a drive for that date, just a breakfast... but I am considering organizing a drive over Highway 9, beginning in Saratoga that day rain or shine....any interest? |

Terrance,
I hope your wife picked out that sofa!!! ![]() and what's up with the CNC mill on your web site? I've got a small side project that could possibly use that, my CNC is too small !!!! I'm all for anouther Roadglue event, it's been awhile, hopefully I'll be showing up in a 914 and not that "boring" 911 of mine, LOL Mueller

mike: hahaha! I think I'm too young to have a wife! (22 years old). Also, being a jobless college student doesn't help either. trying to sell that thing for my parents. $300! someone buy it! The CNC machine is at my friend's shop, www.atpturbo.com They use it for their own R/D and stuff like that. I don't think they will be happy with me touching a $70K machine. haha

I'm game for a show up. Like Mike, I hope to have a 914 running. Like Mike, I'll fall back on a cheezy 911 if I have to. :-)

Well, guys, Wayne is gonna be up in this area next week. We're thinking about a Tied House (Mountain View) dinner at some point, possibly Wednesday.
Perhaps some Speedring action another evening. What do you think? --DD

Hey T,
those guys are right up the street from me.......I went by thier shop to ask about a 914 that was sitting in thier old parking lot, turns out the car belonged to Osborn (Jim, I think)...it was a stripped out POS 75/76 car that my wife told me about (her job rents out an office space across from ATP's old place and she thought it would make a decent project car.....) hey if that CNC is just sitting there, they might be interest it putting it to use

haha, that's actually at their old place. They moved to the corner of Fremont BLVD and Grimmer. There's a 914 outside there too, but it's Mine. haha.
Hmm, Speedring sounds nice to me. Need to improve my lightweight fast time of 30.886.

I've been to thier new place before, but I never went inside.
Have you dyno'd your car thier yet? Their is a new karting place in Fremont Lemanskarting.com You can get a free pass on line. My wife and I have a bet on who will get the faster time once we get a chance to go there

yeah, saw Lemanskarting yesterday. went by, no one there. actually went to check it out, and see if they are hiring a part time poor college kid. hehe.
I did dyno my car at the shop. 76hp at the wheels. I'm gonna be installing a Crane points conversion and all this new ignition crap, oil cooler, and just cleaning up and replacing some seals. Then gonna dyno again and see if I can better the HP.

UPCOMING ROADGLUE.COM EVENTS Winter brings slowness to RoadGlue.com, though but we have always managed at least one winter meet. Our next get together will be on Saturday, Feb 2, 2003. Stay tuned for details. |

Why does winter have to be the end of 914 gatherings?
I think the 914 is perfect in the rain....whatever water enters into the cabin from the bad seals will drain out via the holes in the floor pan

Jeff/ bay area people..
In North Texas we have a area called Interlocken that has very nice houses. Every year this neighborhood does a Christmas light display and holds tours through the area. This thing is so popular that people sell helicopter rides so you can see the lights from above. My question: does NorCal have anything like this that we can "visit ??" Its a cool husband/wife thing to do. B |

Non that I am aware of...
There a usually certain neighborhoods throughout the Bay Area....usually the well-to-do such as in Palo Alto and Willow Glen in San Jose, which have good drive by displays, but not fly-overs.... |

If you are up for a drive to Antioch, the street that my mother-in-law lives on is featured in the paper every year......PITA when we go over there to visit at night around this time of year........
Shannondale Dr if anyone cares........

HWY 9 / Skyline is always a great place. But it can get packed on those really nice days.
