thin metal on dash under material
okay....here it goes....i'm in the process of re-doing the material on the face part of the dash....you know the one that matches the door panels....once i took the material off...there was a thin piece of metal glued to the main dash frame...is this piece of metal stock.....has anyone replaced it before...i have some strange ideas...

It's stock. I haven't replaced it. I have gotten rid of it, but not replaced it with the original metal framing.
