What is this electrical component?
 

Anyone know what this small cube like component is with the loose wire? It's under the passenger seat coming off the wiring jacket.

Relay maybe, what year car?

It's a relay or buzzer. On my 74, the "door ajar" buzzer was rather like that, but the socket was attached to the socket of the "LOGIC-RELAIS", AKA the "Dreaded Seatbelt Interlock Relay". Which looks like what you have still on the floor there.
