What price for lids, 901?
I have been offered a front trunk lid, an engine lid, both doors and the removeable roof from a genuine 914-6 in tagerine (oringinal color but repainted). I have 2 914-6s, one of which is tangerine. I don't really need them, but feel like I should take them if the price is right. What do you guys think a fair price would be? He also has a side shifter 901, and he wants $300 for that, assures me all gears and synchros are good. That seems a tad high, but I am open to opinion.
Thanks Tony |

The front and rear lids are $50 each unless they are perfect. The doors since they are early doors are worth something to racers (lite weight). The roof if perfect $75-100. The 901 is worth about $250 if it shifts by hand ok.

Does it really matter if those pieces are off a "genuine"914/6? All of those pieces are the same for the /4 as they are fro the /6. Being off a /6 doesn't make them any more valuable.
IMO, Geoff's prices seem a little high for the body pieces and abought right on the tranny.

I agree with Geoff. And to add to that, early doors if they are nice and solid as well as complete (no rust and all glass handles hardware etc... included) should be worth $75-100 each IMHO.
