I'm not sure if you've seen this site for a 914 in England.

Its worth a look, the quality of the work is thoroughly oustanding, asthetically you be the judge, but its hard to fault the work, (or the website dedicated to this car/project/rocket)

Yeah, pretty interesting. His discussion on torque and HP is great!! But it is easy to draw the wrong conclusion from the end of it... He does not point out that you can (should) just downshift rather than staying in whatever given gear....
