WTB Porsche 914-6 engine
 

Yesterday I got information about the original engine number for my 1970 914-6.
The car was distributed by Porsche Car Northwest, Inc., Beaverton OR, and has a history in Arizona and California (?) Then it had registration number WILD6. Used in autoslalom events etc.
It would be great to trace it up if it still exists..

There an 914/6 long block that has not been stamper listed

On the 914World there is a list of known engines out there that are available. Go over there and check. Also check theSamba.com (VW site), engines show there too.

Sorry for the delay. I asked my boss but never got a direct answer. I think he's in the $12,000 range. This is the engine from the beautiful white 914-6 GT Tribute that sold on BringAtrailor two years ago. You can still search and see video of car/engine at speed. Best, Mark
