Thumbs up '75 914 f/s, runs great, for parts or race

Great rust free car for the race track or use it for parts. This car has no rust under the battery and rocker panel area. I bought this car in CA.

The front is crunched a little but not serious since it had the crash bumpers. The hood ruined and head lights need repair. The front of the trunk is pushed back a little but can be pulled back out. The fenders may need a little work.

This car still runs good. Everything works except headlights (motors and wiring is fine) . I was on a road trip when it happened. I drove it back 600+ miles from New Olreans with no problems, sometimes hitting 110 (about 105 actual) on the way so the motor is still good. Plates, registration, insurance, inspection is current.

This car is pretty much complete. It just needed a paint job before it was crashed. If you have a clean straight 914 that is stripped, this car is all you need. Lots of great parts...

180# rear springs
22mm front torsion bars
front poly bushings
braided SS brake lines
steering rack spacers (since car is lowered)
Dino steering wheel
new trans ground strap
new drive shafts
monza muffler
new turn signal switch
wood dash (not plastic wood grain)
new shifter bushings
new carpet
lots of new weather stripping (doors and windows)
new battery tray
rear Koni shocks with snubbers
K&N filter
complete and working 1.8 AFC fuel injection
pertronics ignitor
new braided plug wires, red Fyrebraidturbo tie-rod kit
19mm master cylinder
blue coil
new clutch
deep sump 1.5 quart oil pan, not the little tuna can thing
bronze pedal bushings
good interior
dash cap
back pad recovered
complete windshield chrome in very good shape (no dents)
good door panels and pockets
all glass is good
seats in good shape
good door handles
Riviera wheels with Dunlops
new rear pads
PORSCHE ABS rocker panels
tons of great parts

$1500 and you can drive it home, not tow it. Your can race it, fix it, or chop it for parts and double your money. I have over $4000 in reciepts for stuff on this car in addition to what I paid for it.

This car is in Kingsville, TX. 30min from Corpis Christi

Okay, so what is a fair price for this car? I'm still tempted to turn it into a track car as I have a lot good suspension and brake parts invested in this car. Typical surface rust in a few spots but the body has no rust or rot. Especially under the right rocker panel and battery where they all go bad. This car came from CA.

Unhappy

bump?

guess I'll start parting out all the non-essentials in a couple of weeks since no one is interested.

Hello. I noticed in the pics that the car has harnesses installed. It looks like the original seats. Is this the case. If so, are the harnesses hooked to a aftermarket harness bar or are they bolted to the fire wall? I am looking at putting harnesses in and I am not sure how I want to do it. I would like to keep the original seats, but I want a good feeling harness also. Any info would be great.
