Newbie hello and parts wanted

Hello. I just got myself what seems to be a fairly rust free example of a 71 914, not bad for the east coast. There seems to be only a small quarter size spot of rust in each of the floor jack plates, the longitudinals look great. Actually, is there any way to get rustproofing inside the longitudinals so the don't get eaten from the inside out?

Anyway, I plan to megasquirt the car (I already have the system built I just needed the car), but this car has dual single barrell webers on it, so I need a 1.8L plenum and runners (I have a 1.8L TB already with variable TPS mounted to it thus the need for the 1.8 gear even though the engine is a 1.7). And if someone has some stock injectors I could use those too, I have some modified 5.0 mustang injectors that fit the intake bosses, but I have a feeling that they are going to be too big.

So if you have any of those parts, please contact me.

Thanks,

Chris

Hey, I'm in NJ, 26 miles outside NYC. How much do you want for the parts?

Welcome to the BBS, Chris!

A friendly reminder from The Management--

"For Sale" and "Wanted" ads should be placed in the "For Sale" BBS, not in the "tech" (or "tech and talk") BBS. I will move this post and leave a link.

Sorry about that, but I do also feel that people that have 1.8L runners and a plenum probably just have them sitting around and are not actively trying to sell them, thus not actively searching the parts wanted section. Thats why I posted here.
