WTB: 4 lug Hubs (or 5 lug)
Anyone have a set of 4 lug hubs they would like to part with? I need all 4.
As usual, for a 5 lug conversion. I don't want to tear my car down while having them machined / drilled, but I'll send you my hubs when finished too-off a 70' I will not need them. email with asking price: rollerton3511@charter.net |
Bob,
Your '70 hubs (rear) are ideal for 5 lug conversion. They have extra raised material where you drill/press in the new studs. http://www.nwfreshmarkets.com/hubb.jpg As for the fronts, no hubs. The rotor w/ the 4 lug pattern has to be machined with a new 5 lug pattern. Or, 911 hubs/rotors/calipers... |
Dave-
I figgered as much. If I couldnt get early hubs I was going to swap the ones I get for my early ones and drill mine out. Then re-swap. I bought some 5 lug rear rotors, and figured I'd drill the fronts...unless theres someone out there that makes the 914 rotor in a 5 lug? What should I pay for random hubs? Any idea? -Bob p.s. your engine is getting cold!!! :-) |
email me I have several sets cheap

Whatever works best for you! No hurry just now, I pulled through the last 'bill cycle' and I'm okay.
3 Car Garage! Hmph. You can fit 7 914's in there! Sweeeet... |
Ghost, I have later hubs already drilled with studs. They have never been installed as of yet. I have a few months for my conversion. Let me know.
