Kevin Powers Purchased a Used engine from me .

He had 3 Days to inspect it a the WCC. (I was not at the WCC)
Before he took the engine out of the truck.
With all of the experts there to look at it.

If he did not want the engine all he had to do was call me.
But he took delivery of the engine
He took the engine in as is where is.

He then has buyers remorse and want me to refund his money saying that its the engine is not any good.

He then offers the engine to Glen Sager.
So Kevin If the engine is no good why are you trying to sell
it.

The engine is a good 2.0 with a bunch of upgrades.

Kevin is whinner.

I was told that if I had met him in person I would not have done bussiness with him that he is a whinner.

YOU BOUGHT A USED ENGINE.
YOU PICKED IT UP .
THERE WERE PLENTY OF GUYS AT THE WCC THAT YOU COULD HAVE HAD LOOK AT
YOU COULD HAVE SAID THAT YOU DID NOT WANT IT.
BUT YOU TOOK IT.

IF YOU DID NOT WANT IT WHY DID YOU TAKE IT?

You picked up the engine.
If you didnt want tne engine why did you pick it up and take it home.
You had 3 days to inspect it at the WCC.
You then offer the engine to Glen it is not about the engine, it is that your wife got mad at you for buying it.
The Heads alone Big Valve 2.0 Heads are worth $1k that combined with New pistons , New cam and Lifters, Clutch and all the cooling tin with fan Shroud and Altenaror was worth the $1900.
Tom Whisler the guy who built the engine told on you the phone what he put into and told me that you were happy that it had all the goodies.

It was my suggestion to Glenn about purchasing the engine from Kevin....Leave Glenn otta this Steve.....you should have never PMed him about it....It wasn't your engine to sell until you refunded Kevin's money. Glenn is a smart cookie and to tell him that you would sell it to him for 3K was a real joke....we had a great laugh on the phone.

If it's worth 3K, I would think that you would be happy to refund Kevin's 1.9K and resell it.

And yes, we will follow you where ever you go with the truth of the situation. The hole you are digging just gets bigger and deeper. You've killed your "business" with 914club.com....it seems you are trying now to kill your "business" with Pelican....Is TheSamba next?

BTW, Jake Raby is calling you too! We'll see what the Court's decision is on that one.

Buff up Steve....Bubba'a waitin for ya!

Nothing against you personally.....just your business practices and ethics...or total lack thereof.

Steve,

Can you describe the car that you have for sale? Condition, color, features... the usual.

Thanks.

Steve, you must have forgot what you wrote about that transaction. I'll be a good guy and reiterate some comments for you. Your welcome

You stated that you would take back the engine and refund the money, a lot of garbage here and there with it - but that was the bottom line.

You stated that the engine must be returned to you first. The engine was shipped 45 miles from your home, still not close enough for your standards, and again a bunch of fluff along with that.

Now you state that there was no returns or warranty on that engine and you will not take it back. So he is stuck with an engine that is over 1k miles away, so he has to pay again to get it home, when you could have said from the start "screw you".

You have several truths "you" live by on this transaction, your only problem is that you cannot stick to one of them. First you need to stick to a "truth" that is actually true and honest.

And the story of how "fresh" that engine was, were all lies. Kevin didn't go over it with a fine toothed comb when he picked it up, as he trusted you and your word and that proves to be a big mistake on his part. The only thing that has stayed consistent with you is your lies.

It is not all hearesay, go look it up on the 914 forum - you will see statements from both Kevin and Steve illustrating this.

Steve, Whinner is spelled Whiner, or maybe that was a psuedo name "winner" as he brought you out into public like the snake you are.

Have a nice day.

As I see it, Kevin is doing all the footwork here. Engine can be delivered to Steve's doorstep. He stated he now will not take it back, and that Kevin should have known that it was a "as is, where is" engine with no returns. Steve gambled on telling Kevin that he could return it for a refund, when Kevin took him up on his offer - Steve's bluff was called.

Your right that there should be some sort of meet in the middle, but Steve wont come through. The part that really is irritating about the transaction is that the engine was shipped down to CA for return, as agreed - then Steve welched on the deal. It would have been different it he would have stated how the transaction was going to be from the git go.

We'll be sure to laugh when you get hosed on a deal, sound fair? Probably not..

has to see he is loosing out on his
work by keeping the duel going Steve
take the motor back half way from each
other. And you too can stop being old
goats and raming one anther in the head

Well Ron you must have thought is was a good engine to offer it to Glen.

It isnt that the engine is not a good engine it is.

So if it is a Ron offers it to Glenn then the engine is a good engine for Kevin.

It isnt about the engine its that Kevin wife didnt want him to buy it.

As with all used parts that you buy from anyone there are no returns.

He had 3 days to inspect it.

Kevin was sure happy when Tom told him of all the parts that went into the engine.

Kevin it about your wife not wanting you to buy it isnt it.

Again if Ron felt it was a good engine to offer it to Glen then the engine is good engine for Kevin to install in his car.

Once I found out that it was offered to Glen that was the end of it.

Hey Steve,

I thought this thread was about a car that you would like to sell. Please tell us more about the car.

If you want to continue the "discussion" with Kevin, please do so on the many other threads available for that.

Thanks.

Steve,

You can email me through this site (under profiles) but posting information about the car here would reach more buyers.

Thanks.
