Wanted: little clamp doodad for heat exchanger
I just lost the small (1x2" or so) piece of sheet metal that clamps the heat exchanger to the engine's ductwork. It sits on top of the air intake end of the exchanger, and has two captive nuts that align w/ two holes in the exchanger.
Ordinarily, I wouldn't worry about it, as I don't have my heaters plumbed in, but the loose joint has been making a really annoying screechy sound..... If it matters, the car is a 1976 2.0L. |
