FS Porsche 914/Type 4 Motor 2300cc $4800

This motor is brand new; built by Jerry and the Crew at Northwest Connecting Rod Services in Seattle, WA. These guys have an excellent reputation for building top notch motors. The motor is new and has never been installed. Very strong motor with gobs of torque. I have never installed this motor and I am selling it due to new baby on its way.

The engine specifications are as follows:
Total displacement is 2300cc
Type 4 Case machined to accept a 911 Fan Assembly (Sharpbuilt, BAS, GWD or others can be used with the exception of the FAT Performance kit) or you can cap it off and use it stock on any 914 or type 4 based application.
96mm Wiseco Forged Pistons with Teflon Coated Skirts
Total Seal Rings
Black High Temp Coated Cylinders with ¼ inch Spacers
78mm Counterweighted Full Circle Crankshaft
Web 163 Camshaft with 284° duration and .5 lift
Web Lifters
Balanced Shot Pinged Connecting Rods
Porsche 914 3-Stud Cylinder Heads with New Sodium filled exhaust valves and Breather Tube welded on Head Assembly
3 Angled Valve Job
Compression: 9.1:1
All Internal Rotational Items have been balanced and blueprinted
CB Performance Products Dry Sump Pump (conventional pump can be used)
Balanced 228mm Type 4 Flywheel (Will mate up with Type1 transmission) or replace Flywheel for 914 setup
Motor is currently set up for remote oil cooler, but stock oil cooler can be installed.
Please note that this is for the longblock only. Fan Assembly, and Shroud are not included in sale.

BERGMAN Full Circle Counterweighted Cranck and balanced and shot pinged rods reworkd by Northwest Connecting Rod from CB Performance I will post additional pictures of the build parts and motor this evening.

sounds like fun. from what most engine builders say.... stock rods ae too short for anything over stock stroke....

You mean Bergmann?

Berg never made a T4 crankshaft, let alone any crank that had full-circle counterweights.

Bernie Bergmann likely provided your crank...an offset-ground and welded T4 crank with welded counter-weights.
