halfshaft
 

About 10 days ago, my wife & I were riding along the Allegany Nat'l Forest & in fourth gear, about to shift into 5th- & without notice there was no drive. Got towed to my wrench & told that the "half-shaft" was bad & needs to be replaced. He couldn't find one through his channels & I recommended Pelican. Today I'm told that pelican doesn't have the part.
I need your help. The wrench was told that Auto Atlanta may have the part & I told him to hold-off until he heard from me.
Suggestions? By the way, a '73, 2.0 , if that helps. Thanks
ps. I can't find "half-shaft" in any search here or anywhere else.I'm guessing it's a drive shaft, but Ihave no reference.
