914 901 trans, side shift
i picked this up at hershey earlier this season and have since changed direction to a 915 trans. i have never used it but it feels totally solid and shifts great. its a '73 and came off a 2.0. as pictured $200?
im in nj and i would strongly prefer local pickup. shoot me an offer. currently has flipped ring gear for rear engine because i was going to use it in a 911 but i have not changed the shims or fully bolted it back together so i will flip it back if the buyer desires. on the inside all gears looked freshey fresh and i can get pics of them if requested this is a 5 speed http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1154118981.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1154119059.jpg |

fwiw. if you have to ship, i found greyhound was by far the cheapest and fastest. i drained the gear lube(required), double wrapped it in 6mil plastic, and sealed the seams and ends with duct tape. no pallet req. shipping from tacoma wa to tampa was $65 and change. the trans was in tampa in 4 days with pick up at the bus station.
