I know they did make some in magnesium. I know they also made some in aluminum.

It seems that "new" minilites are still available from England. Not sure of how (I thoought they went bankrupt) maybe someone purchased the names and plans and are remaking them? I know 6.5 x 15 go for about 230/wheel (new).

The styles are slightly different for magnesium & aluminium Minilites - post a picture & we'll be able to tell you which version you have.

Early wheels were mag and had the lugs with a collar and washer, Panasport bought the rights to make the wheels again and they are alu. and you use a Porsche lug nut for it. I had two sets of the mag type and they sold for $2000.00 per set. Good luck

IIRC magnesium wheels don't have the "Minilite" name on them.

They did.......Thanks for the info. Seller has agreed to refund so I guess I am ok. Disappointed but no harm no foul. I believe it was "honest" mistake
