Misc Parts

I just bought a 914 and it came with a load of parts; I'm guessing a prior owner disassembled another car. I've got no space for this, I also don't have the time to ship individual bits n' pieces, so I'm hoping someone is willing to just come over and snag the whole lot of it for a decent price. Pics on request.

Located Middletown CT, not willing to ship the large parts. Contact me for details and bring your pickup truck.

Dunno; only now getting into 914s so don't know them well enough. Here's a pic:

OK Mr Hall Monitor, let's call it one MEELLION dollars for the lot (said while pointing tip of pinky finger at side of mouth)...or best offer.

Or, if I get grief about it not having prices for each of these parts, then let's just close the topic and convert all these parts (that are likely usable to someone within the community) into landfill and I'll buy some beer with the metal scrap proceeds.

that's a rear oem sway bar with drop links. buyers will assume the bushings are shot. you are missing the mounting brackets. condition looks good, but I'm looking for a front.

btw: the hall monitor is helping all of us keep this board a productive place to sell parts. I get that it's hard to know how to price stuff especially if you'll steeply discount someone taking a bunch all at once, but it keeps the board a civil place that works. you should price that sway bar at ~$150.

Welcome to the board. Our host requests that you price your items to help facilitate the buying and selling transaction. Without prices, every conversation starts with "how much for" or a low ball offer of "I will give you $5 for x".

If you really would rather dump the parts in the landfill than participate as a civil member of a very supportive community, go for it. Just makes you sound like a bit of a #%*+! When all people want is to buy some parts and potentially get to know you. Lots of life long friendships are formed here. Maybe that doesn't interest. Maybe you want to enjoy your car in a bubble and not as part of a community of like minded individuals. The choice is totally yours.

My apologies if I offend, but I bristle whenever the first response to someone offering to deal with the hassle of selling parts (versus tossing them) is "read the rulez!" Doesn't exactly project an atmosphere of "supportive community"... Those here who may know me (and I'm sure there's very few) know that I don't tolerate Internet forum silliness easily.

Thanks. Exterior mirrors may already be spoken for, rear swaybar is also claimed. Please be more specific what you mean by "small gauges" and what you're looking for in locks and handles; I found that the passenger side door handle is broken (but I'll toss it in the box with the left one if you want it). I recall seeing the door latches, frunk, trunk, and engine lid mechanisms.

Send me an email to grega03 at pobox com. I'm leaving tonight for a race weekend and won't be back home 'til Sunday night; I'll be glad to get pics for you Monday.
