WTB 914-6 engine shelf "plug" - fuel

In need of the "plug" that closes the second fuel line hole in the passenger side engine shelf of the 914-6. Will help finish out my restoration parts list.

You might want to check with Chris Foley at CFR Tangerine Racing. He has OE (maybe repros) fuel line/shelf grommets. He may have, or know of someone who has the plug you are looking for.

SS Fuel Lines Line Grommets

Thanks Greg. I have a set of his lines but will see if he might have a lead on the plug.

plug

You can purchase a grommet and just intall. If you are concerned with debri entering through its opening then you could fill it. Not sure how easy it will be to find an aftermarket plug that will fit the shape of the stock opening. Additionally, you bore the opening to a larger diameter and find an aftermarket plug to fit. Not sure how detailed you are or if you dont want to change the originality of this area. On a separate note...I noticed that you are in Orlando, FL? It's always great to hear about fellow 914 owners in our town. I live in the Dr. Phillips area. Shoot me a PM with your contact number and maybe we can meet at some point. I am converting my 75 914 2.0 to a six and own an 89 911 Targa daily driver.
